Now, Great Lakes has launched a new program in analytics and this time, it is a completely online offering giving anyone anywhere access to high quality analytics education. The Business Analytics Certificate Program (BACP) by Great Lakes Institute of Management enables participants to learn data analytics tools and techniques that are used by companies worldwide without any location constraints. The program coverage and case studies involved ensure that the Great Lakes’ BACP program is by far the most comprehensive online analytics program out there.
The new program offered by Great Lakes – Business Analytics Certificate Program – not only covers essential topics in business analytics that are required to break into a career in analytics, but also considers a minimal disruption to the candidate’s work life. Moreover, participants are expected to take roughly 6 months to complete the course.
Additionally, the learning material is provided online followed by live virtual classes for doubt clearing and case study illustrations. Furthermore, Great Lakes will let the candidates access their learning material for a period of 3 years even after the course completion.

Online Learning
It comprises of about 100 hours of self-learning through lecture videos and exercises, 40 hours of live virtual classes, delivered by faculty with over 15 years of hands-on experience in Business Analytics, and an additional 20 hours of assessments. Lecture videos are supplemented with live instructor led webinars to ensure that the participants have a thorough understanding of the topics.
Learning Management System
All participants in the program will have access to the online Learning Management System (LMS) that hosts all the content, including online lectures, webinar recordings, reading material and assignments. Participants can also access the LMS using the Great Learning mobile app. Further, LMS provides an innovative learning environment that also encourages collaboration between candidates, thus maximizing learning effectiveness.
Program Format
In all, the program comprises of 160 hours of learning delivered exclusively online, including lecture videos, live weekly webinars and course assessments. The webinars will be scheduled on weekends except on designated holidays; and participants will be informed in advance on the timings of the webinars as well as the topics that will be covered.

Eligibility
Though the Business Analytics Certificate Program does not have any specific prerequisites, a quantitative background or graduation in a quantitative discipline like engineering, mathematics, sciences, statistics, economics or similar courses would help participants get the most out of it. Interested participants need to enroll in the course before the batch start date.
Fees
The fee for the Business Analytics Certificate Program is Rs 75,000 plus service tax. Participants can pay in two installments if they wish to do so.
