About: An IoT Architect uses a massive amount of data which are collected from various sorts of gadgets in order to solve business problems. They are mainly responsible for the end-to-end architecture of IoT solutions. According to a report, 76% of respondents in organisations with an IoT architect feel that their organisations are prepared to address their IoT needs.

Responsibilities: There are various responsibilities in this job role. An IoT Architect needs to drive and own the architecture as well as the design process, work with product management and software engineering team for translating the requirements to architecture, design, and implementations. Generate and manage reference architecture to preserve the knowledge in order to reuse it later when needed. They are also responsible for experiencing the design solutions for large scale deployments, experience with working in internet-related cloud technology development and also have the maturity to understand large systems and recommend upcoming technologies to solve complex business issues.
