Airtel Invested In Conversational AI Startup Voicezen

Bharti Airtel, one of the leading network solutions provider, on Thursday acquires 10% stake in Voicezen. The telecom operator with this acquisition will now be able to further enhance its customer service for business growth. Voicezen has now become a part of the Airtel Startup Accelerator Program — an initiative that will help in creating a startup ecosystem to facilitate Digital India.

The Gurgaon-based company, Voicezen is an early-stage startup that works on converting conversations to insights. It firm offers Voice Platform and Data Platform to companies that want to deliver superior customer experience.

“With this strategic investment, we will work closely with Airtel to continuously improve our AI models and build out an enterprise-grade, battle-hardened product that will make customer interactions more efficient, especially in this post-COVID-19 a world where business operations are facing large disruptions,” Apurba Nath, Founder of Voicezen, said in a statement.

Using its Voice Platform, companies can develop their own voice-based applications. Powered by the AI engines, the platform can assist in discovering top call drivers, perform sentiment analysis, and more.




Besides, its Data Platform assists in extracting features from data, build models, among others. With this, it offers pre-trained models that can be run on various companies data to analyse and extract insights into unstructured information.
