Anupama Lakshmanan currently works as a Senior Operations Research with the Sabre Labs team, situated out of Sabre’s Bengaluru Global Capability Center. She has worked on discrete choice models, passenger segmentation and schedule and market size forecasting, for Sabre. Anupama received a PhD in Decision Sciences from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore in 2020. She received the Director’s Merit Award for the highest CGPA during her PhD coursework. She was also awarded the Wipro Sustainability Fellowship for aiding her research work. Prior to joining the doctoral program at IIMB, she worked for eight years developing algorithms for 4G modems at Broadcom and MYMO Wireless. She is interested in business forecasting and time series analysis. She received a dual degree, M.Sc. (Hons.) in Biological Sciences and B.E. (Hons.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani and MS in Electrical Engineering from San Jose State University, San Jose, California.
