Sudhir Tandon
The founder Executive Director [Prog] of Lok Sabha TV, a former ADG, Doordarshan, and a
President with Osian’s Connoisseurs of Art & Osian’s Cinefan Festival of Asian & Arab
Cinema, he has over 50 years of experience in TV, cinema and the media.
With many innovations made in Indian TV to his credit, he is the recipient of the
Commonwealth Broadcasting Association’s Miller Award for the Best Social Action
Programme for 2001.He also planned and executed the longest non-stop Millennium
celebrations programme on TV, worldwide.
He has experience of working in various roles: producer, director, cameraman, teacher,
film & drama critic, theatre practitioner and cultural administrator.
He is an alumnus of prestigious academic and professional institutions in India and
abroad viz. FTII, NSD, NIFT, AIBD (Malaysia), RNTC (Netherlands), STOU (Thailand),
National Museum Institute, New Delhi.
