Digital Engineering Platform Indium Software To Hire 800 In 2022

The company has aligned its services into five broad categories: application engineering, cloud engineering, data and analytics, DevOps, and digital assurance.

Indium Software, one of the leading Digital Engineering and Gaming solutions providers, recently announced plans to hire across its board. The company looks to hire from top leadership positions to mid-level managers, engineers, architects and many freshers to reach a revenue of $70 million in two years on the back of strong growth through the pandemic.

“We’re close to 2000 people today, and I think we will probably add close to about 800 people across these parameters in the coming year. Indium Academy is the cornerstone for our future talent. If we look at today’s engineers, there is a war on lateral talent. While lateral talent is definitely a part of our growth agenda, we also realize that there are new technologies that have sprung up. We are looking for talent in technologies that are just very nascent, about 2-3 years old. We have over 100 low code development engineers. Until a few years back, low-code as a community did not exist where we could simply go and hire from. Therefore, we had to create our own community in order to be able to deliver and evolve. That comes out of our Indium Academy, where we take people with certain primary skills, and then we impart those secondary skills and get them ready for our business needs,” said Ram Sukumar, Co-Founder and CEO of Indium Software.

The company is also going through a period of restructuring, Sukumar said. The company has aligned its services into five broad categories: application engineering, cloud engineering, data and analytics, DevOps, and digital assurance.

They had also recently announced that Ramkumar Ramamoorthy, former Chairman and Managing Director of Cognizant, India, and Rajesh Balaji Ramachandran, former Senior Vice President and Global Delivery Head of Cognizant’s Enterprise Application Services practice, have been inducted as Investor-Advisors.

“We figured, that by repositioning ourselves as a Digital Engineering company, and reorganizing our services around Digital Engineering, we can do a lot more in terms of winning larger deals, addressing customer needs in a variety of industries which we have not served before and build the kind of skills that can put us on the same pedestal as that of the larger players,” Sukumar added. 

He also said that in the future, the company’s low code application development services, expertise in Natural Language Processing, more specifically, on text analytics and smart test automation, will be among the differentiated and sought after solutions that the company will offer.
