Data analytics firm EXL announced its fourth-quarter and full-year results ended December 31 with a revenue of USD 295.5 million and full-year revenue of USD 1.12 million. EXL’s year-on-year revenue jumped by 17.1 percent on a reported basis from USD 984.4 million. The company’s adjusted diluted EPS also increased by 37 per cent to USD 4.83.
The company underlined how much its analytics business had grown in years. “This was a pivotal year for us, not just from a revenue growth perspective, but also in terms of the evolution of our business into a data analytics and digital operations and solutions company. As we enter fiscal 2022, we see a strong pipeline across our business lines,” CEO and vice chairman Rohit Kapoor stated.
The company also released its revenue guidance for 2022 within the range of USD 1.28 billion and USD 1.31 billion. Chief financial officer Maurizio Nicolelli forecast a strong performance for its analytics segment. “We expect analytics revenue to grow in the range of 15% to 20% per annum and digital operations and solutions revenue to grow by 7% to 9% per annum, ” he stated.
EXL’s results were powered by its acquisition of Clairvoyant, an AI and cloud services firm, in December last year, whose revenue contributed to the total revenue between a range of USD 40 million and 45 million. It also bagged 58 new clients for the whole of last year, with 30 of these clients in analytics.
