In a recent LinkedIn post, it has been announced that IBM Cloud has announced a reduction in prices on bare metal servers across the board. Along with that, the company is also including up to 20TB of bandwidth with new competitive prices.
The post stated, “We’ve lowered our prices on bare metal servers across the board, and included up to 20TB of bandwidth. Same power and choice. New competitive prices.”
According to their website — “Bare metal servers provide users with sole access to the entire server. Unlike a virtual server with multiple tenants, the pure bare metal server is a single-tenant and offered without a hypervisor, thereby eliminating the “noisy neighbour” effect and any performance “tax” from the hypervisor.”
It further stated, “Bare metal servers can be acquired in a preconfigured form or custom-configured to exact specifications.”
IBM has always been recognising the continued importance of keeping their prices competitive without compromising on its capabilities.
The new pricing is active now and is available to existing IBM clients as well as new customers. To have more information, users have to visit the IBM Cloud services.
