Chennai-based DataSwitch Inc, on Wednesday announced Sivakumar Agneeswaran as the group CEO and chairman effective September 8, 2022. His responsibilities in this new position would include providing strategic leadership, growing and solidifying alliances, launching a professional services division, and scaling the company as a whole. 

As the CEO of DataSwitch Products, Karthikeyan Viswanathan will remain in his existing position.

Agneeswaran is a veteran of global growth markets and life sciences and has held several leadership roles in his 23 years of work term. In his last role as the VP and global delivery leader for data and intelligence practice at Cognizant, Agneeswaran was credited with the transformation of automation platforms. In addition, he played a vital role in building data and intelligence insurance practices, leading to the company accounting for a few millions in his ten years of work. Agneeswaran had a strong contribution in data technology horizontal and the creation of an automation platform for data modernization. 

“Siva (Agneeswaran) brings a rich service experience coupled with building automation platforms. With Siva onboard, it will help DataSwitch scale the product and incubate the professional services,” said Viswanathan. Elaborating on the role, he said, Agneeswaran would be inclined towards strategising, expanding and strengthening partnerships, thus accelerating overall business growth.
