Peritus AI, a startup providing AI and machine learning driven automation solution has raised a funding amount of $2 million from venture capital firm Ideaspring Capital and early-stage fund The Hive. As per the reports, the startup intends to use the money to set up R&D center and strengthen its development team in India.
“We are looking forward to help from Ideaspring for support in building and guiding our development team in India,” said Santhosh Srinivasan, co-founder and vice president for engineering at Peritus.ai.
Founded by Santhosh Srinivasan and Kamesh Raghavendra in 2017, this California based startup focuses on applications of AI in the enterprise segment. It uses recent advancements in AI to bring automation in professional services, support and incident resolution, and help in customising end-to-end service workflows. It also predicts the support needs and incident features from patterns mined across product designs, past incidents, configurations and log data.
As data centres have become the foundation for delivering modern enterprise IT services such as cloud, IoT etc., cloud operators and service providers have to provide high availability, resiliency and avoid downtime while dealing with fast-changing technology landscape. Peritus is facilitating just that by leveraging AI.
“Data centre growth over the last 15 years has created significant growing pain in data centre management. Tasks that once could be done manually by IT teams have hit the limits of scalability, cost, and efficiency and Peritus is solving that by automating it,” said Arihant Patni, managing director, Ideaspring Capital.
Peritus has been co-created by The Hive and the products for the startup is currently being developed by the leading data centre vendors and managed providers. Some of its early customers include large datacenter infrastructure vendors, cloud service providers and telcos.
