The Day Zero placement process for Praxis Business School’s Post-Graduate Program in Data Science (#1 ranked by Analytics India Magazine, 2021) concluded on a high.
The highest offer stood at Rs 16 LPA (made to 17 students from the batch), while the average compensation for all students was Rs 12.4 LPA. The spring batch has achieved 93% placement just five months into the nine-month programmme. These students will now embark on a fast-track career in data science.
The roles offered to students were data scientists and analysts. The average hike achieved by students over their previous salaries was 222%, with the highest hike being 627.3%.
The interviews kicked off at 5 AM, and the rush to recruit top students resulted in companies making lucrative offers to top-ranking students. Leading companies like PwC, Colgate, PepsiCo, Wells Fargo, Abbott, ITC, WNS and many more participated in the campus placement process this year.
