Arnab Kumar Laha is a professor of Production and Quantitative Methods (P&QM) at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. He is also the faculty chair of the Executive Programme in Advanced Business Analytics. He takes a keen interest in understanding how analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence can be leveraged to solve complex business and societal problems. He has published his research in reputed national and international journals, authored a popular book on analytics, and has edited book volume published by Springer. He was named among the “20 Most Prominent Analytics and Data Science Academicians in India” by Analytics India Magazine in 2018. He is a member of the Indian Science Congress Association and Indian Statistical Institute.
