On Friday (December 9, 2022), British engineering company Renishaw inaugurated its state-of-the-art technology centre in Bengaluru.
The facility in Peenya is spread across a 12,000+ sq. ft. This new centre is expected to allow companies to work with Renishaw engineers, leveraging its technology to make their process more efficient and productive. In addition, the companies will be able to view demonstrations of its extensive product portfolio, including its advanced metrology equipment for process control applications, such as the Equator flexible gauge and scanning systems for CNC machine tools, amongst others.
The facility was inaugurated by William Lee, CEO of Renishaw Plc; Ramadas P, managing director of Ace Manufacturing Systems; Andy Buttrey president of Renishaw APAC; Paul Gallagher, vice president and managing director of Renishaw APAC; and Paul Weaver, director of sales and marketing Renishaw India.
The launch event also witnessed the participation of 30+ CEOs, managing directors and VPs from manufacturing companies operating in India.
Renishaw is a global engineering and scientific technology company with precision measurement and healthcare expertise. The company supplies products and services used in applications as diverse as jet engine and wind turbine manufacture through dentistry and brain surgery.
In addition, the company is a leader in the area of additive manufacturing, which is also referred to as 3D printing. Renishaw designs and produces industrial machines that ‘print’ parts from metal powder as part of this effort.
