Analytics platform SAS Viya is now available on Microsoft Azure Marketplace at the click of a button on a pay-as-you-go basis. The company, in a press release, said that the full-featured platform on Microsoft Azure would equip global customers with access to essential machine learning, data exploration, and model deployment analytics. 

It would be available in many translated languages, including an extensive in-app learning center that supports immediate onboarding. The IDC Market research has forecasted the increasing growth of analytics software deployment on public clouds, matching the on-premises deployments by 2024. “In this strategic move, SAS makes access to its analytics easier,” said Dan Vesset, group vice-president, analytics and information management, IDC.

“SAS Viya is one of the most comprehensive analytics platforms on the market today. Presenting users with the complete analytics life cycle – from data to a deployed and managed model – available for immediate use and deployment via the Microsoft Azure Marketplace, is key,” he added.
