True North, has signed an agreement to sell its stake in Actify Data Labs Pvt Ltd, a data-driven analytics company, to global survey platform Voxco.
Headquartered in Bengaluru, Actify Data Labs, an augmented intelligence company, provides data engineering and data science capabilities and has helped enterprises leverage data using ADAPTify – its technology lab and analytics platform. The acquisition will help Voxco to upgrade its experience management offering and improve its bottom line.
Voxco is a provider of omnichannel cloud and on-premises enterprise feedback management solutions. The company provides government agencies, market research organisations, global corporations and universities with a platform to collect data via online and mobile surveys, face-to-face offline surveys or even over-the-phone interviews.
Hindol Basu, CEO of Actify Data Labs, said, “AI is revolutionising the experience management landscape. Data is the heart of AI and the fuel to drive new age omnichannel experience management platforms. We are thrilled to be part of a global leader like Voxco where our technology will play an integral role in reimagining the research technology, survey and experience management platform of the future.”
In 2018, True North had incubated Actify Labs from its fifth fund with a $10 million commitment.
Voxco raised the funding for acquisition from Pivoton Capital, a current syndicate of Canadian and US PE investors. The financial details of the deal were not revealed.
