Top Campus Outreach Programs By Tech Giants


Driven by the advancement of technology, organisations are reaching out to Generation Z through campus ambassador programmes. These programmes help the students as well as the community at large to keep abreast with the constantly-evolving technology. Campus ambassador programs are an easier way for enterprises to share the latest tools and techniques within the community. 

This year, Analytics India Magazine launched the second edition of the AIM Student Ambassador programme which has been helping the Gen Z establish and maintain a healthy and vibrant data science and AI ecosystem throughout the country.

1| Campus Ambassador At Coding Ninjas

Coding Ninjas is a diverse mix of educators-turned-programmers as well as programmers-turned-educators. The responsibilities of Campus Ambassador at Coding Ninjas include organise hackathons and talks(pre-placement) which are to be conducted at colleges, creating programming contests on CodeZen, maintain relevant databases, and other such.

2| Graduate Programme Advisor At Shell

Shell has established a new IT hub in Bangalore to enable the business by focusing on business outcomes, delivering fit for business technology solutions which enable business agility and profitable growth. As the Graduate Programmes Advisor, the candidate will be the Campus Ambassador who will be responsible to provide research and insights, including audience and competitive landscape, to support the ongoing development of graduate attraction for resourcing and business partners, optimise effectiveness and ROI of activities, leveraging data, insights and digital resources and other such.

3| HackerEarth Student Ambassador

The HackerEarth University Ambassador Program is a platform for students who are passionate about programming to start and run an active programming club in their university. The tasks of the Student Ambassador will include promoting competitive programming within the university, organise programming events and meetups, organise programming competitions and get sponsored by HackerEarth and other such.

OnePlus Student Ambassador Program is a six-month-long campus connect program which aims to form a network of like-minded students across India. The goal of the student ambassadors will be serving as the OnePlus community specialists, brand evangelists and technology experts in their respective institutions.

5| TechGig Campus Ambassador Program

The TechGig Campus Ambassador Program is a platform for students who are passionate about programming interested in leading an active programming forum in their respective colleges. The responsibilities of the CA include conduct at least one programming challenge each month on the TechGig platform and provide prizes to the winners, plugin TechGig as an associate in any technical fest, come up with innovative ideas on how TechGig can associate with colleges, and other such.

1| Cisco DevNet Student Ambassador Program

Cisco DevNet is a community to help developers build on Cisco APIs and platforms. It provides the tools to learn, code, get inspired and connect with the Cisco technologies. The ideal candidate for the ambassador program will leverage the tools and techniques built on top of Cisco Technologies as well as share them on campus.

The GitHub Campus Expert program includes learning various types of technical and professional skills such as technical writing, community leadership, public speaking and most of all, software development. As a GitHub Campus Expert, the candidate will receive training and mentorship from GitHub employees, opportunities to participate in exclusive events, and support to help and grow the developer community.

3| JetBrains Campus Ambassador

The Campus Ambassador Program by JetBrains aims to support students interested in JetBrains tools at the university. The program provides technical assistance and guidance, sponsorship of various activities and funding, giveaways, and more. The goal of a JetBrain Campus Ambassador is to share information on free JetBrains IDE and .NET tools licenses, practice hands-on experience in the latest technologies, organise group meetings and workshops and other such.

6| Student Ambassador By IBM

The Student Ambassador at IBM will have the opportunity to work closely with IBM technical experts, recruitment leaders, and marketing teams to raise IBM’s profile on campus and introduce IBM to students and student groups across the respective campus. However, it is still under development, the IBM Student Ambassadors program will be launching as part of the IBM Champions program which will offer the students to network and build professional relationships with IT services, mentored by IBMers and IBM champions and much more.
