Chrome browser now gets a ChatGPT-backed extension, GPTx.
Developed by software engineer Sarvesh Kapre, GPTx enhances the user’s browsing experience by allowing them to access ChatGPT results in their Google search box easily. GPT-powered results, combined with traditional Google results, can boost user experience, search optimisation, efficiency, credibility and accuracy.
OpenAI’s ChatGPT, based on GPT3.5, has been topping the charts for a while now. The news of GPTx comes soon after American entrepreneur and the co-founder of Cue, Daniel Gross, integrated GPT-3.5 into an AI-enabled assistant on WhatsApp, calling it WhatsApp-GPT.
Features of the GPTx
GPT-induced outcomes can improve user experience by adding variety and uniqueness. This also gives users new insights and viewpoints. In addition, by providing context and information that may not be readily available through conventional results, the GPT-generated results are set to foster the accessibility of the search experience. It gives quick and easy access to more information by avoiding user wait time with streaming output.
Users with various needs and abilities may benefit from a more inclusive search experience. Furthermore, as it gives users a complete view of the information they are looking for, displaying GPT-generated results alongside conventional results enables customers to examine ChatGPT’s results in juxtaposition with those from Google and determine which one best suits their needs.
Finally, the search experience can be made more convenient by the GPT-generated results, which can give users quick and easy access to more comprehensive information.
The tech hub is leveraging ChatGPT heavily to come up with new updates. It is time that we keep looking out for them to enhance our daily activities.
