AIM Media House on July 24 brought together more than 200 CIOs, Chief Data Officers, Chief AI Officers and enterprise technology leaders at the fourth edition of MachineCon in New York.

Held at 583 Park Avenue, the one-day conference focused on a question many enterprises are grappling with today: how to turn AI investments into measurable business outcomes.

The event also presented the AI150 Awards, recognising 150 leaders driving enterprise AI adoption across industries.

The group awards recognised leaders across nine categories and 15 individual honours, including Data-Driven CxOs, Generative AI & Agentic AI Leaders, Enterprise AI Architects, AI Adoption Champions, Responsible AI Stewards and AI for Impact, among others.

Individual honours recognised roles such as Chief AI Officer of the Year, Generative AI Pioneer of the Year and Enterprise AI Visionary.

Among the winners in the Generative AI & Agentic AI Leaders category were executives from S&P Global, Siemens Healthineers, Wells Fargo, Prudential Financial, UBS, CVS Health, Marvell Technology, Cox Communications and IFF.

Across the broader AI150, leaders from organisations including Bayer, BlackRock, Johnson & Johnson, Vanguard, Honeywell, HSBC, FedEx, Lockheed Martin, Mars, PepsiCo and Bank of America were also recognised.

Together, the winners reflected how enterprise AI has expanded well beyond technology companies into financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, logistics, retail and the public sector.

This year, AIM Media House expanded the programme from the AI100 to the AI150 Awards.

The move increased the number of honourees by 50, reflecting both the growth of the MachineCon community and the broader adoption of AI across enterprises. The expansion acknowledged a wider cross-section of leaders building, governing and scaling AI inside enterprises.

The recognition resonated with many of the awardees, several of whom described it as an acknowledgement of the work involved in building AI inside large enterprises rather than simply experimenting with the technology.

Lily Li, Head of AI Adoption and Solutions at Franklin Templeton and winner of the AI Strategy & Adoption Leader award, said the recognition underscored the importance of turning AI into lasting business value.

“Enterprise transformation is always a team sport,” she wrote after the event, adding that enterprise AI is about “building trusted platforms, enabling governance, creating reusable capabilities, and establishing operating models that allow AI to scale responsibly across the enterprise.”

Data Science Transformers award recipient Srini Karre, Executive Director for North America IT, Data & Analytics at The Estée Lauder Companies, described MachineCon as an opportunity to learn from peers tackling similar enterprise challenges.

He said the “energy, depth of insights, and quality of conversations around generative and agentic AI” stood out, while discussions on AI governance and strategy were “both enlightening and validating”.

Nik Acheson, Chief Data and AI Officer at Monte Carlo and a Data-Driven CxOs award recipient, said one message consistently emerged from discussions on AI accountability and ROI. Beyond the award itself, he said one of MachineCon’s highlights was bringing “so many amazing people into one room for us to geek out, share, and build lasting relationships”.

Reflecting on the conference, Acheson wrote that “those that are delivering ROI at scale and not just experimenting are rapidly betting on their foundations end-to-end”. “The connective tissue of all data, all intelligence, and the self-learning and self-healing needed to make this possible in a safe/governed way is emerging as our next frontier.”

Beyond the awards, MachineCon 2026 featured keynote sessions, executive panels and peer discussions on the issues shaping enterprise AI today.

The agenda covered why many enterprise AI initiatives fail before reaching production, measuring AI ROI, AI accountability, scaling generative AI beyond pilots, AI regulation, trusted data foundations, the evolving role of Chief Data Officers and enterprise adoption of agentic AI.

The programme featured speakers from organisations including Honeywell, Citi, Mars, Snowflake, Neo4j, Dataiku, Fiddler AI, Retool, Fivetran, Hex, Acceldata and Monte Carlo.

Sessions examined topics such as AI accountability and ROI, enterprise AI economics, de-risking AI transformation, and turning AI initiatives into measurable boardroom outcomes.

Since its launch in 2023, MachineCon in New York has grown into an annual gathering of enterprise AI leaders, with the 2026 edition marking its fourth year.

Alongside the conference sessions, attendees took part in networking events, where enterprise AI leaders exchanged ideas, shared deployment experiences and discussed common challenges before the event concluded with the AI150 Awards and a networking reception.
