AMD has introduced AMD AI Engage (IND), a points-based program that helps AI and machine learning developers enhance their skills while competing for rewards, recognition, and practical certification training.

The program sits within the AMD AI Developer Program, an open-source community that provides members with access to tools and technical support and AMD Developer Cloud credits tied to mainstream GPUs.
To become eligible, begin by signing up for the AMD AI Developer Program.
Developers earn points by finishing AMD AI Academy modules, participating in online and in-person workshops, publishing white papers or research, submitting case studies, and creating innovative applications on AMD hardware.

What’s in it for the Participants?
The incentives are substantial.
- Top winners in each region receive cash prizes and AMD GPU credits.
- First place comes with $5,000 and $1,000 worth GPU credits OR sponsorship to AMD Advancing AI Event. (July 2026, California, USA)
- Second- and third-place winners receive $2,000 and $500 GPU credits and $1,000 and $250 GPU credits, respectively, along with additional credits.
- The top 100 participants receive invitations to hands-on certification training delivered by AMD experts and industry professionals, providing them with in-person sessions in Bangalore, Hyderabad and New Delhi, and exposure to production-grade AI workflows.
Regional activities will be launched across cities, including Bangalore, Hyderabad, and New Delhi, making the program accessible to India’s rapidly expanding developer community.
You do not need AMD hardware to join the program. All members receive AMD developer cloud access and resources to start building immediately.
AMD AI Engage targets AI and ML developers, data scientists, engineering students, campus innovators, early-to-mid career professionals, and enthusiasts seeking a structured platform to demonstrate their skills.
