Raj Kapoor, founder of India Blockchain Alliance announced their collaboration with Metafluence in Metafluence City to launch ‘Metahut’ to become the first industry entity to establish presence in metaverse in India.
India Blockchain Alliance (IBA) is a group of experts and enthusiasts representing Indian businesses and helping them participate in the digital economy by researching and building a blockchain network.
Founded in 2018, IBA developed the world's first blockchain integration marketplace, SELLITIC, for the handicraft sector to provide a platform across the globe, specifically for artists and artisans from marginalised communities. With IBA now accessible in the metaverse—students, customers, and clients would be able to apply for courses and assistance, including querying for assistance in the blockchain network.
Metafluence City is a platform that connects influences, audiences and brands in the metaverse. Users can now step into their lounge to get information about funding opportunities, advice, job opportunities, and courses. The company plans to have their own NFT room for users to handpick courses, products, and merchandise.
The team is now selecting their top 100 First Movers for Metafluence Platform from India with a focus on industry experts, influencers, partners, marketers, investors, and entrepreneurs.
Recently, IBA also announced its association with the Economic Council of India (ECI) to expand blockchain technology for economic growth and social impact for enterprises and individuals by offering data privacy and security.
