LinkedIn recently released a list of jobs that have gained prominence due to AI redefining hiring practices in 2025. This highlights the need for individuals to upskill and embrace new opportunities to remain competitive in the job market.

Among the most sought-after roles is the AI engineer, who is responsible for designing and training AI models and algorithms to address complex problems and enhance system performance. This role is particularly in demand in the technology and consulting sectors, with Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Delhi leading as hiring hotspots. Roles like machine learning engineer, data analyst, and Python developer are common pathways into this field, with both remote and hybrid work options available.

Other notable jobs include aircraft maintenance engineers, who ensure the safety and efficiency of aircraft, and robotics technicians, who assemble and maintain robotic systems. While the former is highly sought after in aviation and manufacturing, the latter is gaining traction in IT, healthcare, and e-learning industries.

In real estate, closing managers play crucial roles in client engagement and deal closures, especially in cities like Mumbai, Pune, and Bengaluru. Meanwhile, the construction sector is witnessing a surge in demand for building information modelling (BIM) technicians, who use advanced software to create digital models for projects, with significant hybrid work availability.

Sustainability analysts are becoming indispensable as companies prioritise environmental impact reduction, with hiring concentrated in Bengaluru, Delhi, and Mumbai. Behavioural therapists are also in demand, who provide essential support to individuals with behavioural challenges in the medical and non-profit sectors.

Additional roles gaining momentum include travel specialists, mechanical engineers, food and beverage managers, and influencer marketing specialists, each carving a niche across diverse industries and geographies.
