UST, a leading technology and digital transformation company, has strengthened its presence in India with a new office in Pune. The expansion is expected to generate 3,500 to 6,000 job opportunities over the next three to five years.
Located in Balewadi’s EQ Smartworks establishment, the new facility spans 80,000 sq. ft and accommodates over 1,000 seats, complementing the existing Pune office at Sai Radhe Complex. UST’s Pune Centre of Excellence, with more than 2,000 employees, is focused on driving innovation in data science, engineering, design, product engineering, and digital applications.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by senior leadership, including Krishna Sudheendra, CEO of UST, alongside Alexander Varghese, COO; Sunil Balakrishnan, Chief Values Officer; Ramprasad Santhanagopalan, President, UST Product Engineering and Pune Center Head; and other executives.
“We are excited to inaugurate our new office space in Pune, marking a significant milestone in our continued growth in India. Through these strategic expansions, we are planning to scale our operations significantly, aligning with business needs and market opportunities in digital transformation,” said Alexander Varghese, Chief Operating Officer, UST.
Highlighting Pune’s role as a growing technology hub, Ramprasad Santhanagopalan, President, UST Product Engineering and Pune Centre Head, added, “Our investments in AI, advanced design, and cutting-edge engineering will strengthen our capabilities, ensuring that the Pune Center remains a hub for innovation and digital excellence.”
UST has been expanding its footprint across India, with recent developments including a second office in Bengaluru, a new Design Experience Centre, and the foundation of a second-owned campus in Kochi, aimed at creating 3,000 jobs in the next five years.
In 2023, the company also launched a research and development-focused office at the International Tech Park in Hyderabad.
The company remains committed to expanding its workforce and infrastructure in line with business demands, focusing on digital transformation, AI, and strategic partnerships.
