Singapore’s Defence Science and Technology Agency and Bengaluru-based space tech startup Digantara have partnered to co-develop tools for space situational awareness.
The collaboration will support the National Space Agency of Singapore and focus on improving satellite tracking software. The two sides will develop, test and evaluate software applications for satellite monitoring.
The partnership answers a growing need to track satellites safely in congested orbits. It will combine Digantara’s sensing infrastructure with analytics to improve tracking accuracy. The partners aim to provide Singapore with a clearer, more complete view of its satellites and support the safety and long-term operability of satellites.
They said they will “co-develop tools in the area of Space Situational Awareness”.
The collaboration will include the integration of Digantara’s sensor data with “AI-driven analytics”. The partnership will also allow Digantara to contribute technical expertise to Singapore’s space monitoring efforts.
The development was announced on the sidelines of the Singapore Space Summit 2026.
Digantara recently raised $50 million in a Series B round led by Reliance, with participation from 360 One, SBI Ventures, and Ronnie Screwvala, among others.
