Fleetx.ai Acquires Pando.ai to Build Unified Fleet & Freight Platform
Snippet: The combined entity plans to prepare for a public listing over the next 18 to 24 months, potentially targeting an IPO, and is aiming for ₹300-400 crore in combined revenue on a profitable basis by the time of the listing.
Fleetx.ai, a fleet and logistics technology company, announced on August 20 that it has acquired transportation management system (TMS) provider Pando.ai for an undisclosed amount. The company said the acquisition will combine Pando.ai’s TMS capabilities with Fleetx.ai’s fleet visibility and AI capabilities, creating a platform spanning fleet visibility through freight execution.
“Bringing Pando.ai into the Fleetx.ai fold creates a unified, end-to-end stack for fleet and logistics, powered by AI agents,” Vineet Sharma, Co-Founder and CEO of Fleetx.ai, said. “We’re equally excited to work closely with Pando.ai’s leadership team and build on the deep expertise they bring.”
According to Fleetx.ai, the combined platform will cover operations from fleet visibility through freight execution, with AI agents working across the stack. Pando.ai will continue to operate as a distinct brand, with its own product and company identity.
Fleetx.ai said the entire Pando.ai leadership team has joined the company and will continue to lead the Pando.ai business. The company also said it plans to invest further in Pando.ai’s products and AI capabilities and layer its own AI capabilities onto Pando.ai’s platform.
Badrinath Setlur, Chief Executive Officer of Pando.ai, said, “Our customers have always trusted us to keep their supply chains moving. That trust doesn’t change with this acquisition. It only gets stronger.”
“Joining forces with Fleetx.ai means we can invest even faster in the AI capabilities our customers are asking for, while our team and our product continue to operate exactly as they have. This is a natural next step for Pando.ai, and I’m excited about what we can build together,” he added.
Fleetx.ai said the combined entity will begin preparing for a public listing over the next 18 to 24 months, potentially targeting an IPO. The company is aiming for combined revenue of ₹300-400 crore on a profitable basis by the time of the listing.
Fleetx.ai said AI agents can support physical logistics operations by flagging delayed shipments, rerouting drivers and renegotiating freight allocations. The company said the acquisition expands its platform from fleet visibility towards freight planning and execution as it works towards greater automation of logistics operations.
