HCLTech has announced a strategic collaboration with IBM-owned software firm Red Hat to deliver enterprise-grade artificial intelligence infrastructure solutions as companies accelerate adoption of AI across their operations.
The partnership will strengthen HCLTech’s AI Factory ecosystem, which brings together multiple technology partners to offer AI infrastructure solutions to enterprise customers, the company said in a stock exchange filing on May 14.
Under the collaboration, the HCLTech AI Factory with Red Hat will be built on Red Hat AI Enterprise and will provide a unified platform for running AI workloads across on-premises, cloud and edge environments.
The companies said the solutions are designed to improve infrastructure efficiency and reduce inference costs through model optimisation, distributed serving and unified operations, while offering an enterprise-grade data foundation with governance and lineage to support reliable AI operations at scale.
“Enterprises are moving beyond experimentation to operationalising AI across their core businesses,” said Rampal Singh, Senior Vice President and Global Business Head – Hybrid Cloud Business Unit at HCLTech. “The HCLTech AI Factory with Red Hat is designed to help organisations industrialise AI, bringing together the right foundational building blocks to translate AI investments into measurable business outcomes.”
Ryan King, vice president, AI and Infrastructure Partners at Red Hat, said the collaboration would help enterprises deploy and manage AI workloads consistently from data centres to the edge.
“The launch of HCLTech AI Factory, powered by Red Hat AI Enterprise, is a significant milestone in bringing enterprise-grade AI to our customers,” said King. “This collaboration helps enterprises industrialise AI, translating their investments into real business value.”
The announcement comes at a time when IT services companies are deepening partnerships with global technology firms to capitalise on rising enterprise spending on generative AI infrastructure, platforms and deployment services. HCLTech has been expanding its AI-led offerings across cloud, engineering and digital transformation segments as clients increasingly seek large-scale AI implementation.
HCLTech reported an 11.2% year-on-year rise in FY26, to ₹1,30,144 crore ($14.66 billion), while the net income for the full year stayed largely flat at ₹17,361 crore ($1.96 billion), down 0.2% YoY.
