Indian IT firm Hexaware Technologies has rolled out new governance, development and lifecycle management capabilities for Agentverse, its enterprise AI agent platform, as the company looks to address challenges around scaling AI deployments beyond experimentation.
The enhancements come nearly three months after Hexaware launched Agentverse and are designed to help enterprises manage, govern and deploy AI agents at scale.
While companies across industries are increasing investments in AI, many projects remain confined to pilot stages because of concerns around governance, security, compliance and alignment with business objectives.
According to the company, Agentverse now includes policy-aware connectors for integrating with enterprise systems, enhanced memory and contextual intelligence capabilities, and governance features such as role-based access controls, audit trails and observability dashboards.
These are aimed at helping enterprises maintain compliance and oversight while deploying AI agents across business functions.
The company has also introduced Agentic Studios, a development environment that provides a structured workflow covering stages from design and approval to testing, deployment and operations.
The tool is compatible with major cloud environments including Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services, and is intended to reduce development cycles for AI applications.
A third addition is AI agent lifecycle management, which enables enterprises to monitor and govern AI agents throughout their lifecycle, from deployment to retirement. Hexaware said the capability is designed to ensure AI systems remain accountable and aligned with business objectives over time.
“The industry spent the last few years proving that AI agents can execute tasks. The harder challenge, and the one we built Agentverse to solve, is ensuring those agents remain accountable, governable, and aligned to business objectives throughout their lifecycle. This update is designed to make that possible,” R Srikrishna, CEO & Executive Director, Hexaware, said in a statement.
Siddharth Dhar, President and Global Head of AI at Hexaware, said the update adds governing intelligence layer that enables enterprises to embed, manage, and continuously evolve AI across the entire operational landscape.
The announcement comes as IT services firms increasingly position themselves around agentic AI platforms and governance frameworks, responding to growing enterprise demand for tools that can securely deploy and manage AI agents in production environments.
