Krutrim, Ola Group’s AI firm, said it has pivoted to a domestic AI cloud services model, reporting revenue of about ₹300 crore in FY26, up threefold from FY25, and its first annual net profit, with a profit after tax margin of over 10%.
The company said the shift follows a business realignment in late 2025 that included reallocating capital and talent and pausing chip design work to focus on building and scaling its AI cloud stack. The company also recently shut down its AI assistant Kruti. The tool is not accessible via its standalone site, app platforms, or the Ola app.
“The company has reached an important milestone of being profitable, self-funded, and gaining market traction. Our AI cloud is built for Indian enterprises, by Indian engineers. The external client momentum we are seeing validates the depth of our platform,” a Krutrim spokesperson said.
Krutrim said its cloud platform is built in-house and deployed without external dependencies, with integration across the stack aimed at supporting enterprise AI workloads.
The company said it now operates a full-stack, domestically built AI cloud platform at production scale, serving sectors including mobility, manufacturing, customer operations, healthcare, and logistics.
Krutrim said it has become financially self-sustaining and does not require immediate external funding, including from its founder.
The company reported growing external adoption, with more than 25 large enterprise customers across telecom, financial services, consumer internet, AI and deep-tech, healthcare, and logistics. It added that a majority of its GPU compute capacity is already committed to external enterprise workloads.
The customer base extends beyond the Ola Group, indicating wider enterprise use of its platform, the company said.
Krutrim said it plans to expand its enterprise cloud presence as demand for domestically built AI infrastructure rises.
