Target in India has expanded its Bengaluru campus with a new 830,000 sq ft office at Embassy Manyata Business Park. The company said that this new facility sits across the road from Target’s existing office and creates one connected campus for its teams.
This announcement comes just after the company confirmed details of the lease with AIM earlier in June.
The new campus aims to bring Target’s teams together and support collaboration and co-creation. Target in India operates as an integrated headquarters of Minneapolis-based Target Corporation. It has operated in India for more than 21 years.
“Our office expansion is a reflection of Target’s strategic priority to strengthen our team and the communities in which we operate,” said Andrea Zimmerman, Senior Vice President and President, Target in India.
Zimmerman said the extended campus will bring more than 5,700 team members together. She added that it will create more opportunities to connect, collaborate and build solutions for Target’s business and customers.
The new 10-floor building includes 22 collaboration spaces and 25 meeting rooms on every floor. It also houses a 1,200-seat cafeteria, gym, recreation and play zone, and dance and yoga studio. The office has seven wellness rooms and other spaces for teams to meet and connect.
Target said the office combines its brand with elements of India’s art and craft heritage. The workplace reflects the company’s culture and its presence in India.
Target in India delivers technology-led retail solutions across merchandising, supply chain, fulfilment, stores, cybersecurity, digital and marketing. The two Bengaluru offices will now form an integrated campus to support closer collaboration across teams.
