Cloud software and data analytics company Axtria Inc has plans to increase the headcount to 1,500 at its new Bengaluru office. In a recent interview, CEO Jaswinder Chadha spoke about expanding Axtria’s footprint in India, its approach to hiring top talent, and the importance of India from a product development and analytics market perspective.

Jaswinder said 75% of Axtria employees are based in India. He said, since May 2021, the skewed demand and supply and market dislocation have led to an exponential rise in salaries for lateral talent. In the wake of this major disruption, the company has adjusted the compensation and has started offering perks and benefits to retain talent, he said.
