Augmented Intelligence Platform DataRobot has announced the Citizen Data Scientists Professional Certification. With this certification, professionals can help their organisations optimise their data and solve business problems using automated AI with DataRobot.
Adding on, the need to have a certification is for Citizen Data Scientists who have on-the-job experience performing data analysis and 3-6 months of hands-on practical experience using DataRobot. The candidate for this exam is proficient in:
- Defining appropriate machine learning projects
- Performing foundational data preparation
- Performing Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA)
- Building, evaluating, and interpreting models
- Recognising and eliminating bias
- Understanding model deployment approaches

Back in June 2021, DataRobot released its second major release of 2021– the DataRobot version 7.1. The new version comes with various features, including automated AI reports, feature discovery push down integration for Snowflake, a quality assessment tool for feature discovery in DataRobot AutoML, automatic data preparation capabilities, and offers nowcasting for time-aware models and others.
Moreover, the company has raised $270 million of funding last year, led by Altimeter Capital, in participation with investors like T. Rowe Price, BlackRock, Silverlake, New Enterprise Associates, and Tiger Global Management. The round brings the company’s valuation to $2.7 billion.
