Intel, in collaboration with Analytics India Magazine, is organising a webinar on the applications of AI in semiconductor design on the 16th of June from 5 PM - 6 PM. With this one-hour-long session, the semiconductor giant plans to bring to the industry’s attention, the exciting areas of work for data scientists, engineers and AI specialists in Intel to innovate and solve complex problems in semiconductor design with AI and allied skillsets.

Increasing application of AI in semiconductor space

At a time when the tech space is dealing with a huge chip shortage, industry titans and small-scale companies have realised how vital the application of AI is in the chip manufacturing process.

Leading the undertaking is Intel, which is solving complex problems in the Semicon space with AI and data science. A misconception prevailing amongst the tech workforce is that artificial intelligence and allied expertise find the most enactment in retail. However, the truth is far from it.

Intel’s AI Centre of Excellence (AICoE) is at the forefront of responding to the knowledge-worker bottleneck issue. Let’s see how.

Why is Intel’s AI CoE placed right?

Intel’s business complexity is growing exponentially, with the multinational entering newer markets, expanding product offerings and more. With more products to design, develop and retain, manufacturing complexity increases correspondingly. However, there is a general shortage of knowledge workers today as the nature of work becomes more technically oriented and requires critical thinking. This is where Intel’s AI CoE undertakes a pivotal role.

What’s in the webinar for you?

In these 60 minutes, you will learn how to accelerate the transformation of semiconductor design and manufacturing with the application of AI, machine learning and data science.

The speakers, who are experts in their respective domains, will take you through interesting use cases to understand how AI can be available to recast how semiconductor design operates.

You will dive into the multiplex complications in chip development and how to effectively put AI to use for solving these.

The webinar will cover

  • Introduction to IT AI
  • Introduction to AI CoE India
  • AI applications in Intel
