What does it take to be a cloud computing professional? A cloud professional should have a learning mindset and be in tune with the latest advances in technology. Below, we have listed a few criteria to land a job in this highly competitive field.

  • Understanding of how different cloud service providers work, most importantly AWS and Azure as they are the market leaders. 
  • A clear understanding of how and where to store the data.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals and virtual networks.

  • Hands-on experience with building and managing release systems, code merging and promotion, and CI/CD workflows and tools.
  • Strong understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and experience in setting up applications.
