Gupshup, a global conversational engagement platform, has appointed Krishna Tammana as chief technology officer (CTO). In his new role, Tamanna will spearhead technology strategy, engineering and integration, supporting the company’s product-led and market growth.
Gupshup co-founder and CEO Beerud Sheth said, “Gupshup’s strong growth has been built on the foundation of heavy investment in product and engineering.”
“He (Tamanna) brings deep expertise in building high-scale products and extensive experience in managing high-performing tech teams”, he added.
Previously, Tamanna was the CTO of Talend, data integration and management solutions company, where he led product management, engineering, and cloud operations. Before that, he led global engineering teams in companies like Splunk, E*TRADE and Sybase.
A BITS Pilani alumnus with over two decades of experience, Tamanna brings expertise in IT infrastructure (cloud and on-prem environments), data architecture, security and SaaS.
Tamanna said mobile technology is going through a paradigm shift, and Gupshup is positioned to reach and engage with a wider customer base more effectively.
He further expressed his eagerness to join the team at an exciting time and looks forward to playing a vital role in the firm’s next growth phase.
