IIT Jodhpur, in collaboration with WileyNXT, has launched a Post Graduate Diploma course in Data Engineering and Cloud Computing. Applications are open until March 11, 2022 and the course is set to begin in the same month.
The 12-month intensive course will teach you the technologies and methodologies to manage the complete lifecycle of a data engineering project – from big data collection to insight generation using machine learning techniques.
“Today, one of the most in-demand skills in the IT and tech industry is data engineering and cloud computing. However, we are seeing a big talent war amongst corporates and organisations due to the lack of availability of a skilled workforce,”said Gaurav Bhatnagar, an associate professor at department of mathematics.
- The applicant must have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or science (4-year program) or a master’s degree in science, MCA, or in a related field.
- A minimum of 50% marks in UG/PG or a minimum CGPA of 5.0 on a scale of 10 with corresponding proportional requirements when the scales are other than 10.
- The applicant must be a working professional with a minimum of two years of work experience (after qualifying degree) in industry
- The applicant must qualify for the written test conducted by IIT Jodhpur or its appointed partner.
