San Francisco-based AI research lab OpenAI launched ChatGPT Plus, a new paid version of the viral conversational chatbot.
Available at $20 per month, it provides access to ChatGPT during rush hours, a faster response rate and priority access to new features and improvements.

Although now available only in the US, the company plans to expand the plus model in other regions.

The Microsoft-backed company last month had released ‘ChatGPT Professional’ at $42 every month. But soon took the “experimental” subscription model down.
ChatGPT Professional had access to the same features as ChatGPT Plus, but at a lower rate.
OpenAI has been constantly tweaking its flagship model with new upgrades. It also yesterday introduced a new AI Text Classifier to differentiate between text written by a human and text written by AIs from a variety of providers, in the wake of backlash from academic institutions.
