Peak XV Partners has announced investments in five early-stage AI companies during the Impact AI PitchFest at the India AI Impact Summit.

With the ₹120 crore ($13.23 million) funding, the VC firm aims to support AI products that guide decisions and integrate into workflows across employment, sales, and collaboration. The focus is on systems designed for long-term engagement, trust, and practical use in Indian language and cultural contexts.

“The Impact AI PitchFest at the #AIImpactSummit2026 featured 31 AI-native startups building deployable solutions across enterprise and public-impact sectors. We’re proud to be backing five companies that took the stage,” the company posted on X.

Round1.ai is an AI-based hiring platform helping Indian startups accelerate recruitment through AI-led interviews. Founded in 2023, the startup taps conversational AI to help engineers, marketers, product managers, designers, and students practice any interview.

Kello is developing a people intelligence engine to evaluate talent. The HRtech platform’s AI copilot helps companies streamline candidate discovery and evaluation processes. It also allows recruiters to search resumes in plain language, resurface and filter past applicants, analyse code repositories on developer platforms, and synchronise data.

Companion Labs is building interactive, entertainment-led AI experiences tailored for vernacular audiences in India.

Zoop is creating an AI business partner that enables offline businesses to scale online growth through live video selling. The Gurugram-based startup was founded by Abhishek Nevatia, Raghav Dalela and Sanchi Virmani.

And lastly, Memfold AI is designing AI-native workspaces to transform how knowledge work is conducted, with human-AI collaboration at the core. Founded in 2025, its flagship product Almanac unifies research and document creation.
