The CEO of Bhashini, Amitabh Nag believes in the power of Indic language AI. Working under government funding, Bhashini has been helping every Indian developer realise their dream of building Indic language models through its open source data and models, with Nag leading this initiative.
Working with the Indian government and supporting several initiatives such as Karya, AI4Bharat, and others, Nag has been instrumental in India’s AI journey. “Bhashini will definitely change lives because people will be more collaborative, cooperative, and innovative, without the burden of trying to learn more languages.”
Nag is also part of the advisory board for artificial intelligence of Government of India and member of GPAI working group. He is on a quest to break the language barriers of AI.
