Also known as ‘What's AI’, Louis-François Bouchard founded Towards AI, a platform dedicated to making AI accessible to everyone. He aims to demystify the AI "black box" and sensitise people about its potential and risks.
From August 2020 to April 2022, Bouchard served as the head of artificial intelligence at Designstripe, a company focused on design and AI integration. Bouchard is passionate about computer vision. He emphasises the importance of understanding AI ethics and the broader implications of AI.
He has received several awards and recognitions for his work, including the JA DeSève scholarship, NSERC Undergraduate Student Research Awards, and Canada Graduate Scholarships for both his master's and PhD programs. He has also been featured in Onalytica's ‘Who's Who in AI?’ report and has reached significant subscriber milestones on YouTube.
Bouchard's current focus is on preparing students for the AI industry through practical education. He believes that traditional university education often fails to equip students with the skills needed in the industry, and thus, aims to bridge this gap through Towards AI.
