Rahul Kumar Singh co-founded Sigmoid in 2013 to enable companies to use data and artificial intelligence in solving complex business problems. An alumnus of IIT Kharagpur, Rahul has been instrumental in driving 10X growth in revenue in the past four years at Sigmoid. With his continued efforts, Sigmoid is positioned as a leading player in data engineering and AI solutions.
Over the course of a few years, Rahul has developed and implemented successful data science frameworks for customers across geographies and industries such as CPG, retail, pharmaceuticals, medical, gaming, ad-tech, and healthcare domains. He has built many profitable data science solutions and ML models in areas including campaign optimisation, marketing analytics, customer analytics, demand forecasting, and NLP, which have turned into revenue-generating engines for clients.
Rahul is passionate about technologies such as Bayesian graphs, statistical models, sensor analytics, and chatbots. His personal research is directed towards creating intelligent systems that can achieve hyper-personalisation, carry rule-based tasks, and make real-time decisions.
Under his leadership, Sigmoid has won several awards such as Inc. 5000 list of Fastest-Growing Private Companies in America (2021), Americas’ Fastest-Growing Companies by Financial Times (2021), Data Breakthrough Award for Overall Open Source Data Solution Provider of the Year (2021), to name a few.
