Dhanrajani’s new book is a culmination of his popular blog — a series where he has been working on “demystifying” AI and analytics. Incidentally, Dhanrajani’s book was rolled out within 60 days — a record for the globally-acclaimed publisher. Reportedly, a sophisticated and custom-made artificial intelligence system was also used to accelerate the publishing of AI and Analytics: Accelerating Business Decisions.

Peter Wiley, chairman Emeritus at John Wiley & Sons, and Matt Kissner, chairman of the board at John Wiley & Sons had attended the book release. Other noted names such as Vikas Gupta, managing director at Wiley India, along with leading industry thought leaders, seasoned academicians and senior government officials attended the event.

Speaking at the book launch, Dhanrajani said that the book was his comprehensive overview of the algorithm economy and its deep transformative potential of morphing enterprises into math houses. It includes incisive study of C-suite stakeholders – CMO, CPO, CFO, CIO’s radical role and functional changes on strategic and operational sides underpinned by AI and analytics infusion.

Along with the book launch, exclusive sessions and discussions regarding new technologies were also held during the event.

“The agenda of talent development, research and education in AI, analytics and emerging technologies is critical for building and benchmarking the future skills and workforce of India. Committed to this cause, Wiley has set up an initiative to work closely with an industry and academia think tank, to provide a global platform for building research, training and certification framework, curriculum, exchange of knowledge and best practices in emerging technologies,” said a statement.

Dhanrajani is a noted name in the industry and has earlier worked as Business Leader, Cognizant Analytics and Data Science at Cognizant Technology Solutions, where he built and scaled Cognizant’s analytics and data sciences business to become a frontrunner in the industry.
