With this article, we are listing down some of the degree and diploma programmes that were launched by Indian institutes, colleges and universities along with analytics and data science training institutes. The course list includes all the graduate, postgraduate, diploma and certificate programmes that were launched in domains such as AI, data science, analytics, cybersecurity, blockchain and other new-age technologies. These courses are not free and have programme fee associated, which in most cases have been mentioned here.

PG Certificate Programme In AI For Digital Businesses & E-Commerce By IIT Roorkee
For this course, IIT Roorkee partnered with WileyNXT, which is claimed to be a one-of-its-kind course that helps candidates specialise in artificial intelligence, machine learning and deep learning techniques in the areas of digital and e-commerce business. This course is designed for engineering and computer science students, along with working professionals who wish to explore digital business platforms as a career. The course will cover areas such as applications of AI, chatbots, image and speech recognition, and intelligent automation. The course includes lab exercises with real-world problems and datasets used in a digital business context. Some of the tools that the course covers are Python, TensorFlow, NLTK, NumPy, to name a few.

AI In Banking Programme By IIT Roorkee
Just before launching the course mentioned above, IIT Roorkee collaborated with WileyNXT to announce an AI course in banking which is designed to help recently graduated students in technology and finance to help build a career in AI and analytics in the banking domain. The four-month duration programme covers topics around digital onboarding of customers enabled by video KYC, contactless authentication and payments, virtual customer servicing, and more. On completion of the course, joint certification will be offered by WileyNXT and IIT-Roorkee.

MSc In Machine Learning & Deep Learning By Insofe
Insofe, along with the Electronic & Electrical Engineering department of the University of Strathclyde launched a full-time Master’s Degree in Machine Learning and Deep Learning that provides real-world exposure to the problems along with providing a global experience. As a part of the programme, students get to spend 2-semesters of course work and 1-semester of industry projects at the University of Strathclyde. Further, the course allows students to apply for the Graduate Route visa and get two years of work permit in the UK.

Undergraduate Programme In AI & Data Science By IIT Jodhpur
IIT Jodhpur launched a new BTech programme in artificial intelligence and data science from the academic session 2020-21. With courses in areas such as computer science, mathematics, artificial intelligence and machine learning, the undergraduate programme will allow students to take a specialisation in various areas such as visual computing, socio-digital realities, language technologies, robotics and more. The course also allows an option to take up MBA (tech) in their fifth year as a dual-degree programme in the School of Management and Entrepreneurship.

Advanced Program In Computational Data Science By IISc
IISc, in collaboration with TalentSprint, announced the launch of a ten-month Advanced Program in Computational Data Science. It is the first-of-a-kind data science programme in the country that is designed to enable, equip and empower the workforce of the future generations in computational data science. The first cohort which will start in Jan 2021 will allow participants to practice on a variety of industry case studies and capstone projects to gain expertise in the subject. The programme is suitable for current and aspiring data scientists along with data engineers, data analysts and data architects.

This programme by IIT Roorkee and TSW is specially designed for working professionals; it covers courses on data science, machine learning and other related technologies in live, instructor-led classes. It also includes ten projects and real datasets, providing a hands-on experience.

Online BSc Degree Programme In Data Science By IIT Madras
The unique online programme at the degree and diploma level provides a bachelor’s degree in programming and data science. One of a kind undergraduate degree programme by an IIT, it will allow learners to register for the programme regardless of age, location and wide academic background. Anyone who has cleared any stream in 12-standard and has enrolled or graduated from college is eligible for the qualifier of this program. On clearing the qualification process, candidates will be inducted into the programme where the first year is a foundational programme.
Programme fees: It includes ‘pay for the course you register’ for in a specific term which ranges from ₹ 4,000 to ₹ 10,000 per course.

AI Machine Learning Developer Programme for Graduates By Kerala Govt
The program called the AI Machine Learning Developer Programme for Graduates by the Additional Skill Acquisition Programme (ASAP) of the Higher Education Department in Kerala was designed to offer AI and ML courses for graduates. Introduced to improve the employability of graduates in the state, it provides practical knowledge for jobs such as data scientist, ML engineer, robotics scientist, AI research scientist and more. The course covers different topics in AI and deep learning, along with critical business problems and use cases.

Postgraduate Programme In Digital Transformation By Tech Mahindra
This course offered by Tech Mahindra along with Jawaharlal Nehru Engineering College (JNEC), under Mahatma Gandhi Mission (MGM) University, provides an MTech in Computer Science and Engineering (Digital Transformation). The 2-year programme will be rolled out in the academic year 2021 and is approved by AICTE. The new online programme in Data sciences and analytics for business (DSAB), is a 14-week programme, for which Shiv Nadar University has collaborated with Jigsaw Academy. Candidates with an undergraduate degree with mathematics as a subject in high school can enrol for the programme. It will cover various topics in machine learning and deep learning along with statistics, probability, SQL, Python and more. The programme also includes a capstone project that allows candidates to have practical experience with real-world data.

IIT Ropar offers this postgraduate certificate programme on AI and deep learning in collaboration with TSW. The programme will be coordinated by the Indo-Taiwan Joint Research Centre (ITJRC) and will be of the duration 6-months. It includes weekend classes offered as live online instructor sessions. The learners will get a joint certificate from IIT Ropar and TSW, upon completion of the programme.

Deep Learning Course By IIT Roorkee
Another course offered by IIT Roorkee is offered in collaboration with US-based CloudxLab, which is an advanced certification course on deep learning. Another programme launched by IIT Madras is the comprehensive cybersecurity course known as Certified Cyber Warriors (CCW) v3.0’. The 120-hour long course has been designed to cover important aspects of cybersecurity along with practical sessions to deliver hands-on experience. The programme consists of over 52 hours of learning tools and 30-hours of boot camp in the IIT Madras campus.

IIT Roorkee in partnership with Coursera offers certificate programmes in two areas — artificial intelligence and machine learning, and data science to equip professionals looking to build skills in data science, machine learning, critical thinking, data collection, data visualisation, and data management. It will cover topics such as Python, SQL programming, kNN, SVM, Trees, Random forest, neural networks and more. The 6-month long programme requires no prior knowledge of coding in Python, R, or SQL.
Post Graduate Certificate In Software Engineering For Data Science By IIIT Hyderabad In Collaborates With Great Learning
International Institute of Information Technology- Hyderabad collaborated with Great Learning to offer an 8-month long postgraduate certificate in software engineering for data science.
