XLRI (Xavier School of Management), a Jharkhand-based business school, has announced the launch of an Executive Development Programme on HR Analytics. The programme will be led by Prof. Gloryson R B Chalil, a fellow from IIM Bangalore who has led various HR departments in sectors like agriculture, manufacturing and IT and has been involved in multiple consulting assignments with government and corporate sectors.
Considering data has been vital for all industries, XLRI also believes that it should also benefit “the world of Human Resource Management.” According to the official release, “this program from XLRI has been designed to introduce participants to the concepts of HR Analytics and familiarise them with different dimensions like descriptive analytics, predictive analytics and prescriptive analytics.”

- Descriptive HR Analytics: Developing and modifying various HR metrics, including proprietary metrics relevant to the organisation.
- Predictive HR Analytics: Making predictions about various people management decisions based on existing data or newly developed proprietary metrics.
- Prescriptive HR Analytics: Making suggestions for future people management decisions based on the analytics and ensuring optimum use of investments in human assets.
With this course, candidates will be able to work on real-time projects based on the needs identified within their organisation.
