Amazon Web Services, the cloud computing arm of Amazon, is bringing its flagship AWS Summit Bengaluru back to the city on April 22 and 23, 2026, with this year’s edition centred on agentic AI, enterprise modernisation, and cloud-native infrastructure.

Held at the KTPO Exhibition Center, Whitefield, the two-day event continues the expanded format introduced last year, splitting the summit into an Innovators Edition on April 22 and a Technical Edition on April 23.

The summit will feature 150+ sessions, customer showcases, hands-on workshops, startup demos, and networking opportunities for business leaders, developers, and cloud practitioners.

AWS describes the event as an opportunity to go “hands-on with the latest in cloud innovation”, spanning technologies such as agentic AI to serverless computing. For a company that remains the world’s largest cloud provider, the summit is expected to showcase how its portfolio is evolving beyond traditional infrastructure services such as compute, storage, databases, and networking into full-stack AI platforms, developer tooling, and industry-specific solutions.

At the centre of this year’s event is agentic AI—autonomous systems capable of reasoning, planning, and executing tasks. AWS’s keynote messaging strongly emphasises how organisations can build, deploy, and scale AI agents, reflecting the industry’s shift from generative AI experimentation towards production-grade agentic workflows.

A major spotlight is expected to be on Amazon Bedrock, AWS’ managed platform for building generative AI applications using foundation models. The company is also expected to highlight Amazon Bedrock Guardrails, which now includes multimodal toxicity detection and safety controls, as well as Amazon Bedrock AgentCore which orchestrates AI agents in enterprise workflows.

For developers, the Technical Edition is likely to focus heavily on Amazon Nova, AWS’ multimodal AI model family, and Kiro IDE, its agentic development environment. AWS is also positioning the next-generation Amazon SageMaker as a unified platform that brings together data, analytics, and AI workflows.

Beyond AI, attendees can expect sessions on AWS’ core cloud stack, including Amazon EC2 for compute workloads, AWS Lambda for serverless applications, Amazon Redshift for data warehousing, Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service for Kubernetes orchestration, and observability services such as CloudWatch.

The Innovators Edition on Day 1 is designed for CXOs, CIOs, CTOs, enterprise architects, and digital transformation leaders. The focus here is on business strategy, secure AI deployments, and real-world transformation stories from Indian enterprises and startups.

Keynote speakers for the first day include Srinivasaa HG, senior vice president and global head of data, analytics and AI at Wipro; Madhusudhan Rao, CTO of Swiggy; Prasad Kalyanaraman, vice president of infrastructure services at AWS; and Sandeep Dutta, president, India and South Asia, AWS.

On Day 2, the summit shifts focus to builders and engineers with deep-dive workshops, hands-on labs, and live coding demonstrations. The Technical Edition is aimed at software engineers, ML engineers, DevOps leaders, cloud architects, and security specialists.

The keynote lineup includes Rishi Bal, CEO of Bharat Gen; Murali Swaminathan, CTO of Freshworks; Satinder Singh, director of solutions architecture at AWS India; Olivier Klein, chief technologist for APJ at AWS; and Mudit Agrawal, senior applied science manager at Amazon Robotics.

Beyond the sessions, AWS is also highlighting multiple experience zones, including the AWS Village, AWS for Industries Zone, Developers Zone, Startup Zone, and the 8-bit Agents Activation, where attendees can watch AI agents autonomously solve challenges in real time.
