Birlasoft reported a 3.4% sequential increase in revenue for the second quarter of FY26, reaching ₹1,328.9 crore.

Its EBITDA for the quarter was ₹213.3 crore, with a margin of 16.0%, compared with 12.4% in the previous quarter.

CEO and MD Angan Guha said that the company delivered a healthy operating quarter in the face of a macro environment that remains challenging.

He said its performance during the quarter also reflects its ability to drive operational efficiencies and generate strong cash flows.

“We continue to make investments aimed at enhancing our capabilities and are leveraging advanced AI-led capabilities, including Agentic AI, across multiple engagements. Our pipeline remains robust and we expect an upswing in deal wins as customer decision-making picks up.”

CFO Chandrasekar Thyagarajan said the margin change reflected operational factors, exchange-rate movements and one-offs, and said the company remained focused on efficiency, cash flow and capital allocation.

Revenue in dollar terms rose 6.4% in the Lifesciences & Services vertical and 1.8% in Banking, Financial Services and Insurance, while the Manufacturing vertical recorded a sequential decline.

Revenue contribution from the company’s top 5, top 10 and top 20 clients increased sequentially.

Total contract value of deals signed during the quarter was $107 million, comprising $40 million from new deals and $67 million from renewals.

Active client count at the end of the quarter was 239, compared with 247 in the previous quarter. Days sales outstanding improved to 55 days from 58 days.
