Wipro has announced a new partnership with Cropin on July 15, 2025 to help modernise and strengthen the global agribusiness sector.

The partnership will use Cropin’s AI-powered agriculture platform along with Wipro’s expertise in technology and supply chains to improve how food businesses operate.

The goal is to make these businesses more efficient, climate-resilient, and better able to meet growing demands for transparency, traceability, and sustainability.

“Climate change, geopolitical instability, and trade tensions are reshaping the agribusiness landscape. At the same time, regulatory pressures like the EUDR and rising demand for traceability are forcing companies to rethink how they operate,” said Krishna Kumar, founder and CEO of Cropin.

“This partnership with Wipro is a strategic step toward building data-driven, climate-resilient, and compliant supply chains at scale.”

While the focus is on agribusiness, the joint solutions from Cropin and Wipro are expected to help related industries such as retail, packaged foods, food service, and restaurant chains—all of which face similar challenges in managing supply chains and adapting to changing climate and consumer needs.“AI is redefining how agribusinesses operate—from sourcing and production to distribution, compliance, and sustainability,” Shiva Jayaraman, SVP and sector head – consumer business, Americas 1, Wipro Limited said.
