Precision oncology startup 4baseCare has raised ₹90 crore in the first close of its Series B funding round, co-led by investors Ashish Kacholia and Lashit Sanghvi, with participation from existing backer Yali Capital.
The fresh capital will be used to fuel global expansion and scale the company’s AI-powered precision oncology platform, OncoTwin.
The funding comes after the company’s ₹50 crore Series A round led by Yali Capital, with participation from Infosys. With the latest raise, 4baseCare is looking to deepen its presence across emerging markets while addressing long-standing gaps in genomic data diversity that limit the effectiveness of precision cancer care for non-Western populations.
4baseCare will deploy a significant portion of the Series B funds to expand its hospital-linked genomics laboratory network across India, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Latin America, and Central Asia.
By embedding its diagnostics and intelligence capabilities within clinical settings, the company aims to make advanced genomic testing more accessible to cancer patients across geographies.
Alongside geographic expansion, 4baseCare will accelerate the development of its AI-driven clinical decision support solutions, including OncoTwin Insights. The platform enables oncologists to extract actionable treatment insights from real-world clinico-genomic and outcomes-linked datasets, helping improve confidence and speed in clinical decision-making. OncoTwin was recently selected for the MSK iHub programme at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York.
Commenting on the investment, the co-lead investors said 4baseCare is building a strong genomics and AI-driven clinical intelligence platform, supported by robust hospital partnerships that enable access to high-quality diagnostics at the point of care. They added that the company is well-positioned to scale across emerging markets and expand its delivery model to maximise patient impact.
Hitesh Goswami, CEO of 4baseCare, said the funding marks an important phase in the company’s growth journey. He noted that the investment will help 4baseCare scale globally while strengthening OncoTwin as an AI-driven decision support platform that continuously learns from real-world clinico-genomic outcomes to support oncologists with faster, more informed insights.
