Apexon has launched a new Artificial Intelligence Center of Excellence (AI CoE) in Hyderabad to strengthen its enterprise AI capabilities and accelerate the development of intelligent enterprise solutions.
The new hub will focus on building advanced AI systems across agentic AI, generative AI, data engineering, and intelligent automation. According to the company, the facility will bring together AI engineers, data scientists, platform architects, and domain experts to design scalable AI solutions that help organisations operationalise AI across their technology and business ecosystems.
The Hyderabad center will also support the development of Apexon’s proprietary AI platforms, including AgentRise, the company’s agentic AI platform that orchestrates autonomous AI agents to automate complex enterprise workflows and decision-making processes.
Early last year, Apexon introduced AgentRise as a platform designed to help businesses transition to AI-native operations by embedding context-aware AI agents directly into enterprise processes. In a previous interaction with AIM, Mukund Kalmanker, Global Head of Data, Analytics and AI at Apexon, explained that the platform is built around a central orchestration layer that manages multiple AI agents.
“Agentic AI brain integrates LLMs for inference and actioning, manages orchestration between agents and serves as the foundation for this holistic platform,” he added.
The AI Center of Excellence will further support innovation around AgentRise and AlphaSuite, Apexon’s portfolio of engineering accelerators that help organisations modernise systems and accelerate digital transformation initiatives.
“Apexon is playing an increasingly important role in helping enterprises move from AI experimentation to enterprise-scale adoption by bringing together advanced engineering platforms, deep domain expertise, and a highly skilled AI workforce,” Apexon CEO Sriniketh Chakravarthi said in a statement.
In addition to building AI solutions, the Hyderabad center will support training programmes, hands-on engineering labs, and collaborative innovation initiatives with clients and ecosystem partners. These initiatives aim to strengthen AI engineering capabilities while helping organisations deploy secure, responsible, and production-ready AI systems.
