BharatPe has launched BharatPe Agentic AI, an AI assistant for merchants that can connect with more than 60 live systems. It also introduced Credit Coach, an AI-powered tool to improve credit awareness, at the Global Fintech Fest 2026.
BharatPe Agentic AI is built with the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform on Google Cloud and integrated into the BharatPe for Business app. The company said the assistant can understand merchant requirements, answer queries, and take actions across its systems in real time.
The assistant combines voice and chat, allowing merchants to interact in Hindi, English, Hinglish, and regional languages. It can handle tasks including complaints and chargebacks, as well as recommend products such as CC on UPI, loans, and POS.
The AI assistant uses information including screen activity, interaction history and previous support tickets to provide context for interactions. Merchants can also select its persona, avatar, and voice. The system can be interrupted during conversations. It can follow up on requests and provide updates.
BharatPe said that with the assistant, it aims to move beyond conventional chatbots.
“With BharatPe Agentic AI, we are moving beyond answering questions to helping merchants get things done,” Nalin Negi, CEO of BharatPe, said. “With Credit Coach, we are making credit awareness more personalised and actionable.”
Credit Coach is available through the Credit Score section of the BharatPe for Business app. Subject to user consent, it generates personalised videos featuring a digital avatar of cricket player and World Cup-winning captain Rohit Sharma.
The videos provide users with information about their bureau score, total and active loans and, where applicable, upcoming overdue payments and written-off tradelines. The tool also provides guidance on timely repayments and responsible credit utilisation.
Credit Coach is available for users across different credit profiles, including those with strong scores, overdue or written-off loans, no active credit history, and users new to credit. The videos are available in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
BharatPe has also used AI for merchant advertising through My Shop My Ad (MSMA), which allows merchants to create personalised advertisements featuring Rohit Sharma’s AI avatar promoting their businesses.
Google said the partnership would use voice-first and multilingual AI to help small businesses with their day-to-day operations.
