Cent, a preventive health intelligence startup, has raised $15 million in a Series A funding round co-led by Blume Ventures and existing investor South Park Commons, on October 27.

“India's healthcare system is still built to treat illness, not to find it early. We believe the next shift is preventive care that is precise and accessible at scale. Our first 10,000 scans have shown us how much that shift is needed,” said Anshul Khandelwal, co-founder of Cent.

He noted that the investment enables the company to strengthen its capabilities in AI, medical imaging, and clinical research, while building preventive healthcare infrastructure in India to serve global needs.

The round includes equity and debt, with participation from individual investors including former Vodafone CEO Arun Sarin and former OpenAI business-to-business (B2B) chief technology officer Srinivas Narayanan.

Founded in 2025 by Shashank ND, founder of Practo and OneFlow Holdings, Anshul Khandelwal, former Chief Marketing Officer of Ola Electric, and Arpit Garg, former Product Head at Lenskart, Cent is building a preventive healthcare platform that combines purpose-built hardware, artificial intelligence (AI)-driven radiology and diagnostics, and bioinformatics.

The company said the funding will support research and development and expand its AI, engineering, and clinical teams. Cent aims to identify potential health risks before symptoms appear and track members' health over time.

Cent has also acquired Medsee, an AI-powered radiology reporting platform founded by Chitra Singh. The platform drafts structured reports and highlights findings for qualified radiologists to review. Cent said the acquisition will help it deliver faster and more consistent reporting as scan volumes grow.

The startup’s flagship offering, Cent Check, combines full-body magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), low-dose computed tomography (CT), dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA), electrocardiograms (ECG), echocardiograms (ECHO) and more than 100 biomarkers in a visit lasting approximately two hours. The screening follows the company's proprietary CCNM™ Protocol.

Cent said its AI system consolidates the results, which specialist doctors review before providing members with a doctor-led health plan and support through the year.

The company said that among members who felt healthy when they arrived for screening, one in four had a finding that warranted action, while one in 40 required immediate medical attention. The findings included early-stage tumours, significantly narrowed arteries and aneurysms.

Blume Ventures co-founder and managing partner Karthik Reddy said the firm backed Cent's ambition to improve diagnostic accuracy for cancers and other conditions and eventually expand its approach beyond India.
