Cognizant has launched Neuro AI Trust, an AI governance platform to help enterprises monitor, govern, and manage risks across AI models, agents, and applications as organisations increasingly deploy agentic AI systems.
The platform provides enterprises with continuous governance and real-time visibility into AI environments, allowing organisations to monitor AI behaviour, enforce policies, and identify operational or compliance risks as AI systems become more autonomous and interconnected.
The launch comes as enterprises move beyond deploying individual AI models to managing multiple large language models, AI agents, and autonomous workflows, making governance and oversight more complex.
According to Cognizant, Neuro AI Trust introduces a centralised control layer that continuously monitors AI systems using "Guardian Agents", while an intelligence layer evaluates interactions in real time and applies governance policies, guardrails, and automated controls aligned with business and regulatory requirements. The platform also offers a dashboard to track AI system health, security, and risk.
"As agentic AI moves into enterprise operations, the constraint is no longer capability but trust. Technology leaders expect governance, accountability and transparency to be addressed by AI platforms," Jennifer Hamel, Research Vice President, Enterprise Data and AI Services at IDC, said in a statement.
Cognizant has already deployed the platform internally across its AI-enabled intranet, which serves its workforce of around 350,000 employees.
Neuro AI Trust supports governance frameworks such as the NIST AI Risk Management Framework, the EU AI Act, OECD AI Principles and ISO/IEC 42001, while allowing enterprises to update governance policies without modifying application code.
It is also designed to detect model drift, monitor multi-agent interactions, predict potential policy violations, escalate high-risk decisions for human review, and maintain audit-ready records of AI interactions.
The platform integrates with Cognizant's broader AI portfolio, including its Neuro AI Multi-Agent Accelerator, as the company expands its enterprise AI offerings amid growing demand for governance and compliance capabilities.
